Description

In 2022, Schenker France in Allonzier-la-Caille adopted the K-Ryole solution to improve last-mile delivery in urban areas. In partnership with DB Schenker, Les Triporteurs Français, and Sprint Project, they introduced a high-tech pallet carrier trailer by K-Ryole that can transport up to 350 kg via a cargo bike at speeds of up to 25 km/h. This innovation addresses traffic congestion and carbon emissions, enhancing delivery efficiency and sustainability within city centers. Schenker France’s use of K-Ryole’s solution underscores the potential for scalable, eco-friendly logistics in populated areas, establishing the company as a leader in sustainable urban logistics.

Impact & Result

Capable of reaching speeds of up to 25 km/h, it enables swift deliveries to urban hypercenters. Thanks to its innovative design, the project has been recognized with two awards at the “Rois de la Supply Chain” event.

Solution Spotlight

To avoid traffic jams, CO2 emissions, and fuel consumption, K-Ryole has developed an innovative 100% electric trailer. Perfect for transporting heavy goods on the last kilometer, this trailer can carry loads of up to 350 kg. Thanks to its sensors, the system ensures that the delivery person does not feel the weight of the load. It allows businesses to save money, improve efficiency, and increase productivity without having a negative impact on the environment.
