story image

Description

First ceiling fan with the ability to communicate with any protocol. In this example, we demonstrate how fans can be combined with HVAC systems based on comfort, temperature, humidity and ppm/CO2 parameters through an integrated KNX system.

Impact & Result

The current air conditioning systems without the implementation of ceiling fans, cause 3% of greenhouse gases worldwide. With this ventilation system in combination with air conditioning systems, we can achieve energy savings between 30%-76% depending on the needs of the environment and individuals. If we assume that this energy saving is equivalent to the production of energy by fossil fuels, coal, gas, oil, we could reduce that 3% approximately by half.

Solution Spotlight

Sulion is a fan manufacturer focused on comfort and innovation. With this approach, the company developed Eco AirSync, an advanced product that sets new standards in the domestic and tertiary domotization. This new innovation allows the fan to be controlled by any central processing unit/device with the ability to regulate the speed of motor rotation, change of motor direction so that it can operate in all seasons of the year according to your need, the variation of lumens depending on the brightness of the day and work situation, and the variation of color from warmer to cooler. The ceiling fan is the key element for combination with air-conditioning systems as well as floor/ceiling radiant, automatic curtains, etc. In the hottest season of the year we could take advantage of the cooling sensation thanks to the velocity of the air affecting our body helping it to exchange the heat generated internally. In the coldest season of the year we could help the destratification.
