The MOVE ON AgTech Cloud Platform integrates with agricultural devices like tractors, sprayers, drones, and satellites, collecting data for data-driven farming. It supports AI applications such as plant counting, yield estimation, fertilization mapping, tractor route optimization, and automated mechanical weeding to reduce chemical use. Strategic partnerships are crucial, with TARIMÖZ, an expert in agricultural machinery, collaborating with MOVE ON, specializing in electronics and software, to develop a cloud-connected smart weeder. The first project phase was completed using both companies' resources, and the second phase received a 50% grant from TUBITAK’s Industrial Order R&D call.
This project promotes sustainability by reducing chemical use in the field by 40% and cutting energy requirements for weeding by 15%. It also creates new opportunities for food traceability, plant growth analysis, and carbon footprint calculation through data collected in the cloud, supporting the farm-to-fork strategy.
Its simple design with extremely few moving parts results in very reliable solution with at least 33% less downtime. Combined with a sophisticated web-based monitoring system, the turbine's service calls and maintenance costs are greatly reduced. EO25 Distributed Wind Turbine need for fewer components is made possible thanks to the in-house patented transverse flux permanent magnet generator which develops a huge amount of torque at very low rpm [revolutions per minute]. High torque allows control of the rotor without the need for any other mechanisms such as blade pitching systems. The high torque also permits operation at low RPM’s, resulting in greatly reduced sound impact. The distributed wind turbines can be installed ''behind the fence'' to provide farms and small businesses with energy independence while offering significant savings.
