The lack of refueling points is a crucial problem in fire prevention. Last summer, in Gironde, firefighters had great difficulty supplying vehicles with water. It's a problem shared by rural and mountain communities alike. The Pyrénées-Atlantiques Departmental Council wanted to protect the Pinata forest by installing a water reserve at a strategic point for the fire department. The area is only accessible by 4x4 trucks, and the public body was having difficulty fitting a water reserve for the fire department. That's when they heard about CUBàO and discovered a solution specially adapted to their numerous constraints in the mountains.
Protecting the Piñata Forest as a whole involves implementing an effective water storage system to support firefighting efforts during emergencies. By storing water specifically for firefighting use, we ensure that fire crews have immediate access to the resources needed to protect this vital ecosystem from the threat of wildfires.
CubàO is a water reserve in a sea container. Its objective is to recover and store rainwater in order to meet two objectives: first, to provide untreated water to firefighters to fight fires and second, give another use to the water collected before it becomes available in rivers or oceans. Our solution aims to preserve water, use it more responsibly and participate in the safeguarding of this precious resource.
