Ki Wood develops and manufactures a wooden construction system. A principle of Japanese origin that involves assembling glued-laminated timber posts and beams with invisible steel connectors to create the structure of buildings. The solution meets the challenges of creating low-carbon buildings, with an innovative solution that is manufactured off-site, is ultra-simple and quick to assemble, and requires no particular expertise on the part of the fitters.

The Environmental Benefits

  • A single man can climb 10 m² a day. So a team of 3 people can assemble the structure of a 100 m² house in 3 days.
  • Our solution can be assembled, dismantled, reassembled and converted and and can be fitted like a Lego without screws
  • Our solution can be used for small extensions as well as extensions to single-family homes or flat blocks
  • Building with wood has many benefits, including reduced environmental impact. Wood captures carbon: Average of 1m3 of wood = 1 Tonne of stored carbon.
  • Sleeping in a wood environment is better for your health and productivity. This increases deep sleep by 20 minutes
  • 100% of the Ki wood solution can be disassembled, reassembled and transformed, so it can be reused indefinitely
