GuaTecs is producing the first premium, local, and natural latex in Europe. This latex will ensure local medical gloves production. It will increase European sovereignty, in particular against the pandemic phenomenon. Such re localisation will reduce importation costs and increase CO2 capture.
The Environmental Benefits
- •The guayule gloves are not generating allergic disease, unlike hevea gloves
- •The guayule gloves are 30% stronger and 30% softer than synthetic gloves
- •Guayule rubber contributes 75% less to CO2 emission than synthetic rubber
- •Guayule is not contributing to deforestation, unlike hevea
