Maturity stage TRL 6 / 7 - Prototype demonstration 1:1

The dAS10 drone can carry up to 20 kg over 700 km or operate continuously for 24 hours. Ideal for eco-friendly, silent cargo transport, infrastructure inspection, and ground observation, it consumes minimal energy and requires little infrastructure. It can be invaluable during floods or natural disasters, providing an aerial overview to guide rescue operations while consuming 1000 times less energy than a helicopter. Additionally, it could prevent megafires by detecting them early, conducting continuous patrols thanks to its endurance and low cost. Prioritizing safety, the drone is equipped with advanced systems ensuring reliability, even in challenging conditions or engine failure. Designed to never pose a danger to the public, even in the unlikely event of total control loss, the dAS10 features multiple redundant systems, making crashes extremely rare, and harmless if they occur.

The Environmental Benefits

  • Lightweight and Energy-Efficient: Despite being 8 meters in wingspan, our drone weighs only 40 kg, thanks to its innovative inflatable design, and consumes minimal electricity due to its efficient, low-power motors.
  • Unmatched Endurance: Our drone can fly continuously for up to 24 hours on battery power and has the potential to operate for multiple days when equipped with solar panels.
  • Versatile and Sustainable: Fully electric and environmentally friendly, the drone can perform diverse missions like maritime surveillance, search and rescue, and offshore logistics, reducing operational costs and emissions compared to using helicopters
  • By replacing manned aircraft with our fully electric drone, CO2 emissions are reduced by over 99.99%. A manned aircraft emits approximately 24.2 metric tons of CO2 during a 24-hour operation, whereas our drone emits just 1.38 kg, using electricity
  • Our drone consumes only 23.04 kWh of electricity during 24 hours of operation, compared to the 96,000 kWh energy equivalent used by manned aircraft. This represents a 99.98% reduction in energy consumption, significantly lowering greenhouse gas emissions
  • Our drone reduces illegal fishing and pollution, protecting marine ecosystems and aiding species recovery in critical habitats like coral reefs.
  • The drone’s low noise emissions compared to manned aircraft minimize disturbances to marine wildlife, preserving seabird populations.

The Financial Benefits

  • Our drone costs less than €100,000, while a manned aircraft for surveillance can cost between €2 million and €5 million, making it up to 50 times cheaper to purchase.
  • Operating our drone costs less than €10 per 24-hour mission, including electricity and minimal staffing, compared to over €1,000 per hour for a manned aircraft, which also requires multiple crew members, significantly increasing overall costs.
  • The total cost of ownership for our drone is significantly lower, with operating costs under €10 per 24-hour mission, compared to over €25,000 for a manned aircraft considering fuel, maintenance, and crew salaries.
  • With a purchase price below €100,000 and minimal operational costs, the payback time for our drone is less than one year, compared to several years for manned aircraft costing millions to purchase
