e4E bricks absorb carbon dioxide from the moment they are manufactured and throughout the time they are used. They absorb more carbon dioxide than is emitted during their production, transportation and use, making them carbon negative. This means that whole buildings can be transformed into carbon absorption systems, helping to tackle climate change and protect our planet without compromising on performance or requiring any significant changes other than the bricks being used. They have superior or comparable properties to commonly used bricks and are UKCA certified, ensuring their compliance with industry standards. With good durability, excellent thermal mass and fire resistance, they are suitable for a range of construction projects. At the end of their life, they can be crushed and returned to the soil to grow crops. We have grown pumpkin plants using our fully recyclable crushed bricks!
