Inland waterways transport is an ecological mean of transport (compared to road and air carriers) on a worldwide navigable network of almost one million kilometers. With a huge fossil energy consomption fleet and underdeveloped infrastructure, it remains a reliable and inexpensive mean of transport. The E-ROW concept would allow the recycling of this fleet in electric or hybrid propulsion recharge with an ecological smart grid pontoon equipped with tidal/ river turbine, low in carbon footprint compare to other technologies.

- •This solution can be applicable in different cities of the globe such as in Bordeaux for pleasure cruises, in Abidjan for its lagoon passenger transport system or even for the public transportation network in Geneva
- •In production, no CO2 are emitted in the atmosphere and no water is used
