An efficient solution for the repair of corrugated steel structures

Identification
The solution offers a qualitative repair of culverts with a limited impact on the infrastructure geometry (most important factor for these assets from a regulatory point of view). The solution relies on an innovative technology that allows optimized design due to outstanding material performances. The objective of the solution is to offer public works owners and road/motorway managers a lasting solution that has less impact on the environment, allowing them to rehabilitate buried metal culverts that are heavily corroded and at the end of their service life. The solution offers the opportunity to restore them to their full capacity taking up traffic loads, to extend their residual life by 100 years, while preserving their passage clearance in order to ensure their primary function, which is to provide a road or agricultural passage and/or to ensure the ecological continuity of fauna and flora and/or the continuity of the flow of watercourses without increasing the risk of flooding.
