Circlechain is a collaborative platform which creates and manages Circular Digital Passports (CDP) for traceability, supply chain management, matchmaking and data exchange. This aims to reduce waste and reduce need for new natural resources through increased circularity, both by reusing products and by increasing recycling of materials. These CDPs are hosted in a Consortium Blockchain, which is an industrial adaptation of public blockchain. The technology is applicable to various types of waste (product or material) and can also be used to trace critical materials, batteries or textile all along the recycling process. This platform has been designed to provide a comprehensive suite of tools and user interfaces that streamline the refurbishment and recycling process, drive the digital transformation essential to advancing the Circular Economy, and help industrialize the sector, ultimately reducing costs and enhancing the quality of reused products.
