Aguardio Leak Sensor

Identification

Many are not aware that an estimated minimum 5-8% in UK, in US several government sources state 20%) of all toilets are constantly leaking clean water from the cistern into the toilet pan - each leaking toilet generally wastes between 274-1096 litres of clean water daily. Clean, unused freshwater leaks down the inner backside of the toilet pan, and straight down the drain along with the waste water. Water can trickle down the inner backside of the toilet pan so slowly that it is not even visible to the human eye, even the water surface inside the toilet pan remains calm. Aguardio's Leak Sensor is capable of detecting water leaks as little as three litres of water an hour. The device is simply connected to the toilet’s water inlet pipe with a plastic tie. It does not interfere with plumbing. If no one is present in the building, remote notification of water leaks is possible by pairing the Leak Sensor with a gateway.
