Sign upAn industrial scale bio-based chemical technology
Afynerie is a technology to convert non food biomasse into bio-based chemical compounds for food and cosmetic applications.
Afynerie fermentation technology uses non-GMO microorganisms to convert biomass into biobased chemical compounds without affecting the human food chain. The Afynerie process reduces the carbon footprint for the seven organic acids it produces by 81% compared with petro-based products, through a zero waste process. The system produces bio-based fertilizers as a by-product, which farmers can use for a new crop cycle (circular economy). The valorization of farmers' products increases via the transformation of by-products into higher value products. The Afynerie process brings the market a healthier offering: A 100% biobased alternative that comes from a recycling process at an affordable price. These products are used as ingredients for flavors and fragrances, food preservatives, feed industry, lubricants, and many other applications.
