Identification
SOP® LAGOON is a powdered additive for the treatment of the liquid manure of dairy cows, to fluidize it and to mitigate the release of Ammonia, odors and GHGs. It is used at 2 grams per cow (0.07 oz per cow), per week, making it very practical and with simple logistics. It reduces the formation and emission of odors, ammonia and GHGs from the manure stored, as well as that spread on the fields. The application of the product can reduce the emissions of Methane by up to -80%, of CO2 by up to -75%, Nitrous Oxide up to -100% and Ammonia up to -100%. It helps the farmers with the management of liquid manure, dissolving any crusts or sediment, keeping it fluid and reducing/eliminating the need for agitation. It also improves the manure fertilizing capacity, displacing part of the synthetic nitrogen fertilization resulting in cost savings for the farmers
