Vessel Energy Fuel Efficiency - Big data and machine learning for navigation in ship networks

The Vessel Solution is mainly focused on reducing fuel consumption, and therefore, cutting emissions and increasing profit, by using data recorded during navigation. It has three interconnected lines of work: 1) performance efficiency; 2) anomaly detection; 3) routing strategies.

Wooboat is working to apply Big Data and Machine Learning techniques to data generated by the Ship Networks System. They use recorded data to train machine learning algorithms to improve the performance of existing models. With the creation of the patterns, they can make predict models of routes, consumption, pollution and form of navigation of those responsible for the vessels. These will allow them to improve the management of routes, maintenance, consumption, CO2 and Human Health Risk Resources (HHRR).
