Solaxess - White and light-colour films for PV modules
Solaxess develops and manufactures a high-tech film that allows architects and designers to maintain their aesthetic vision by making PV modules appear white or light-coloured.
The technology acts as a selective mirror that reflects visible light and transmits infrared rays. This allows PV modules to appear white to the human eye and yet retain excellent power output. As a result, Solaxess provides a solution for renewable energy integration into the built environment. Developers, architects, and ultimately owners have the possibility to integrate photovoltaic energy perfectly on façades and roofs with white or light-coloured active full building elements that are cost effective, durable and aesthetically pleasing. It is compatible with flexible/curved surfaces and can be adapted to any size and shape required by design.
