denaLi Direct Lithium Extraction - Technology for environmentally sustainable, rapid and economic lithium extraction

As a society, people want more mobility with their devices and equipment, more renewable energy battery storage and more electric vehicles on the road. Lithium-ion batteries are an important part of this future. EV adoption is growing globally and becoming more affordable for the middle class as costs come down. To meet this challenge, the denaLi solution aims to create the mine of the future. It provides a sustainable, profitable and rapid means of creating lithium products for the rapidly expanding electric vehicle sector and utilizes material and chemical innovation to unlock environmentally friendly lithium.

Key features

  • Modular technology that can be deployed anywhere in the world
  • Produces lithium products in a 24 hour period
  • Selectively removes lithium from brine, allowing for reinjection of depleted brine back into the reservoir
  • Produces up to 75% lower GHG than traditional lithium mining methods
  • Requires 1/26 the land use of conventional technology
  • Significantly lower air contaminant emissions in all categories

Profitability

  • Less than two (2) years capital payback period, with the extremely low up-front capital expenditure, the customer is able to pay back their initial investment in 23 months
  • Minimum IRR of 40% on capital investment
  • Key factor for a short payback period and healthy IRR: low capital expenditure (CAPEX) associated with the deployment of modular units
