DECONTACTOR™ - A combination of plug, socket-outlet and switch, with a unique contact technology making it 5.7 times more energy-efficient than the industry standard
The DECONTACTOR, is a connector which combines the advantages of a power socket with the performance of a switch. The socket-outlet has an integrated switching function and spring-loaded, silver nickel-tipped butt style contacts. The technology, as well as the superior quality of materials, result in a CO2 footprint reduction of 5,7 times more energy-efficient than a standard pin and sleeve product. The use of a machine or other equipment produces heat, and therefore energy - the goal is to limit it. With regard to industrial electrical socket outlets, several factors must be considered including heating due to the passage of the current, thermal cycle linked to multiple "start & stop" or manoeuvres - rorrosion resistance. The DECONTACTOR™, has been developed to meet these criteria, with limited contact heating and better compensation of the thermal cycle.
