CONTAINWATT - An innovative mobile renewable energy generator and storage system, creating an autonomous convertible shelter
Energy access is one of the biggest challenges that need to be overcome in areas with no power access. The Containwatt vision is to provide an autonomous shelter with energy that comes from solar panels set up above the facility.
The whole facility is store in a 20'' Container that makes the solution easy to transport by ship, trucks on any desired place. Once solar panels are spread, the facility can provide up to 42kWp with a setup area from 70 m2 (45 solar panels) to 210 m2 (120 solar panels). Thanks to its plug and play system, the Containwatt is an easy way to get simultaneously electricity and base camp. Electricity management is driven by an automatic system that ensures the link between batteries, electricity production, and consumption. Sodium batteries can store up to 120kWh.
