A Data-Driven, Energy-Aware Choice Engine® Platform - Our online consumer decision support system uses new consumer product market data, new software technology and new applications of behavioral psychology to eliminate barriers and nudge shoppers towards better purchases. The Enervee Score® and personalized total cost of ownership estimates (CLEARCOST®), along with comparison features & site design have proven to be effective.
The platform adopts three key strategies to bring about more efficient product purchases, investments into renewable energy and fuel switching (e.g., purchase of an electric vehicle): market transformation, behavior change and targeted financial incentives. A better functioning market frees up resources to invest in targeted programs to drive product innovation, benefit income-constrained households or deliver load reduction when are where needed.
