Cell3Ditor - Unique tabletop factory for printing highly efficient and easily customizable solid oxide fuel cells, saving time and resources.
Hydrogen is one of the main candidates to enable a zero-emissions energy scenario in the future. Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) are currently the existing power generators with higher efficiency reaching an astonishing 75% from the first kW in certified commercial products
Based on multi-material 3D printing of technical ceramics, Cell3Ditor fabricates in a single step customized plug and play SOFC systems, enhancing the commercialization of the currently most efficient power generation technology (75%) and facilitating emissions-free energy scenarios. Cell3Ditor gathers intrinsic environmental benefits of the additive manufacturing revolution (minimization of waste material and energy consumption reduction above 70% in SOFC production) together with the high social impact derived from empowering individuals to become producers able to penetrate in the power generation sector. 3D printing machines will open the SOFC market to new players that will ensure and reinforce the supply chain while generating new and highly qualified jobs.
