A network of Franchised Solar Energy Shops - Solar powered powerbank charging station
The solution provides renewable and affordable energy, which is accessible to people with low purchase power and no access to electricity. The local franchisees sell and recharge energy products that are cleaner, safer and cheaper compared to the candles, kerosene and batteries.
Jiro-Ve has developed a solar powered charging station for power banks, which are sold with a small charging cable compatible with phones for only 3$. Once the customer owns the power bank, they can have it recharged for 0,10$. From this amount, 10% goes in commissions to the shop owner, who operates the smart charger. More importantly, 15% goes back to the customers, allowing them to save up for more powerful energy solutions. This way, they ensure that a whole village can be served through one central solar system, setting people on a path to grow towards more powerful energy solutions.
