The TectorTherm System aims to be an effective method of improving the energy efficiency of buildings and reducing their CO2 emissions. The External thermal insulation system involves the installation of insulating layers to the facade of new buildings or renovation.

The environmental benefits

  • Thermal performance (insulation panels : TectorTherm PANEL EPS λ D = 0,037 W/mK; TectorTherm PANEL XPS λ D = 0.034 - 0.036 W/mK; TectorTherm PANEL MW λ D = 0.035 W/mK
  • TectorTherm Adhesive for insulation panels installation : -20% CO2 emission
  • Energy savings: 53 kWh/m² of floor area are saved (cooling and heating)
  • The solution offers a CO2 reduction of 11.74 kg CO2/m² (floor area) (compared to a non-renovated/insulated building)

The Financial benefits

  • Average of 15.79 euros saved/m² of building (floor) : 10,03 euro/m2 saved in terms of cooling of the building + 5,76 euro/m2 saved in terms of heating of the building.
  • Customer Payback : 3.23 years (see calculations in § 5.5)
