CoolRoof by Cool Roof France
Implemented by Brico Dépôt in Brive-la-Gaillarde (France) in 2021
Brico Dépôt, a specialist in the distribution of DIY and home improvement products in France, has chosen the CoolRoof solution for the renovation of its site in Brives. The company wanted to find a sustainable passive technology to reduce the overheating in summer on its 5,000 m2 sales area. In July 2021, CoolRoof intervened with its eco-designed and biosourced Solution including oyster shells allowing to lower straight the ambient temperature of the building up to -7°C and reduce the carbon footprint of the shop.
Result
-41% in energy bills & a reduction by 9 of the number of hours above 25°c in the store during the summer period
