Identification

DISIRE is creating inline sensing that can be utilized with big data cloud analytics in order to achieve an optimal integrated process control reconfiguration for industrial plants and processes

Addressing the needs for more energy and resource-efficient processes in multiple industrial sectors, including the non-ferrous, ferrous, chemical and steel sectors, DISIRE provides miniaturised Process Analyzing Technique (PAT) technologies capable of being inserted into flows of raw materials. The "Intelligent Raw Materials" technology allows better characterisation of the material, optimisation of the processing plants, increase of the process intensification and energy efficiency in chemical, steel, and mineral processing while improving the industrial combustion processes. DISIRE developed and evaluated a novel framework for IPC combining existing sensory readings with inline sensors that transmit data in real-time to a cloud, offering online PAT for control and reconfiguration. Highly versatile, DISIRE introduces technologies that can reduce the consumed energy, improve the quality of the products and reduce the impact on the environment.
