ZeLoop provides is a new platform engaging consumers in the circular economy and contributing to the reduction of plastic waste that litters our planet. The Solution is composed of a mobile phone application, ZeLoop, that will reward consumers for collecting plastic bottles. It is designed to provide interaction between consumers and stakeholders of the plastic bottle circular economy; municipalities retailers to beverage bottle producers. The application is built on a blockchain-powered reward engine that serves as a platform where other eco-friendly applications rewarding citizens can be connected in a suite of solutions for sustainability and environment protection.

The Environmental Benefits

• •Based on a 5 years conservative ramp up, ZeLoop is estimated to prevent more than 230 million bottles from ending in nature, not generating micro-particles and toxins harmful for animal and human health.
• •One can estimate a saving of about 60g to 200g of CO2 per bottle that is collected and used to make a new bottle
• •That is between 14 200 to 47 500 tons of CO2 saved by recycling the material collected into new bottles
• •It is a vector for educating consumers, helping to reduce littering in general.
