Optical water metering in the cloud
The main problem Water Pigeon is trying to solve is the poor management of water due to lack of data. The PGN generates water consumption data from existing water meters with an optical approach that can be installed in minutes and at half of the cost of current solutions. There are 100 million water meters in the United States and 60% of them are read-only once a month, with little to no automation. The PGN addresses these aged meters and closes the gap in data collection and analytics. Data collected from the PGNs are presented to customers on a userfrienly web-based dashboard.
