Tallano Technologies was founded on a single ambition: to reduce air pollution from the emission of fine particles by braking systems. Each braking action causes the emission of fine particles (PM10 and PM2.5), loaded with carbon and heavy metals, which remain suspended in the air, endangering the health of users and citizens. Our TAMIC® solution captures them at the source of emission, at the heart of the brake itself, preventing them from being dispersed in the air and inhaled. It is capable of capturing at least 70% of PM emitted during braking, whether the vehicle is individual or collective, light or heavy, thermal or electric. It consists of an electronic board that activates a turbine during braking and a filter that retains the particles, enabling their eventual reprocessing. Protected by a portfolio of patents worldwide, TAMIC® can easily be fitted as original equipment on cars, as well as retrofitted to trucks and rail vehicles.

The Environmental Benefits

  • Reduction of more than 70% of the brake emission of fine particles
  • Fine particle are the 2nd source of pollution in cities (ex: 16% in Paris)

The Financial Benefits

  • Expected additional turnover for the different stakeholders of the industry : circa 1.5-2B €
  • 307 000 premature death due to fine particle air pollution can be drasticly reduced thanks to TAMIC®
