This solution saves space and weight in building structures and is easy to integrate and to retrofit in existing structures insulation membranes. It features high acoustic performances, in low frequencies included. Stop-Sound in made of viscoelastic biopolymers produced from bio based natural compounds which are recylable and bio-degradable polymer (Green chemistry sustainable products). This mats are low in carbon and don't face compound issued from fossil hydrocarbons, they also are free from chemical plasticizers (no phthalates). Stop-Sound is naturally resistant to fire without addition of flame retardants, and resistant to water.
