Smartbox™ is a mobile hemp processing machine that can be used off-grid and will even supply power. It is provided free to farmers in Africa to incentivise as many as possible to grow hemp. Hemp has more impact by absorbing CO2 than trees or any other crop. The company will then sell the carbon offsetting benefits on the carbon markets to polluting companies. Hemp is used in numerous environmentally friendly products that provide a basis for the decarbonised industrial base of the future. We will provide an essential catalyst to the development of a widespread hemp market in Africa. The solution delivers considerable additional benefits to farmers and communities and provides them with the tools and knowledge they need to build the future that they deserve. Smartbox™ collects an array of agricultural and meteorological data that is communicated by the systems back to a centralised data analysis centre. It will also be collecting real time CO2 sequestration data and providing that clarity to the markets and partners in a dashboard display.
