Discover RECYCL'He, the first mobile helium recycling unit in Western Europe. Powered by 45-8 ENERGY, RECYCL'He is an innovative system providing a solution to the supply difficulties of a resource essential to many industries (medical, electronics, lifting, etc.). Designed to meet the needs of helium-consuming industries, the solution offers a complete service for recovering and purifying degraded helium. Faced with supply difficulties and the criticality of some resources, including helium, the European Union is committed to ensuring that 25% of its annual consumption of critical raw materials comes from recycling. RECYCL'He fits perfectly into this approach, contributing to the objectives of the CRM Act law. RECYCL'He encourages a circular economy for helium, preserving a local volume and complementing the current supply of native helium. By opting for an eco-responsible solution and recycled, European-grade helium, customers reduce their carbon footprint.

The Environmental Benefits

  • 5772 m3 of helium recovered and recycled from the balloon of the Olympic Vasque at the Paris Olympic Games, i.e. +96% of the volume of the balloon recovered
  • 24-hour operation system
  • The helium recovery rate after purification is 97%
  • By opting for helium recycling, we are reducing the helium chain carbon footprint by 2 to 4 times, comparing to the traditional helium import chain
  • RECYCL'He helps preserving 80 000 Nm3 of helium per year
  • The first helium recovery operation by RECYCL'He has allowed to save and reuse 5772m3 of helium

The Financial Benefits

  • Helium consumers can have an additional income for helium between 4€ and 10€ per m3
  • No financial investment for the client (no OPEX, no CAPEX).
