LignoGuard is a bio-based multifunctional ingredient derived from upcycled biomass lignin. LignoGuard unlocks the protective functions of lignin for many consumer products such as cosmetics, coatings, and packaging. For example, it can be used in cosmetics to protect the skin from the damaging influences of sunlight, oxidation, and other stressors. At Lignovations, we believe that natural resources are precious and should be used to their best potential. LignoGuard is sourced from wood waste and produced without any harmful chemicals to unlock lignin’s natural functions for cosmetic products. Our ingredients have passed a regulatory safety assessment and have been awarded the eco-label “COSMOS Certified” confirming its sustainability.
