Implementation Stories

Kaiterra Enterprise IAQ Monitoring Solutions by Kaiterra
Implemented by Gangnam City in Seoul (South Korea) in 2018

The Seoul’s Gangnam City Government wanted to better understand air pollution in the city and design effective policies to combat pollution exposure. Kaiterra collaborated with the authorities to develop a network of outdoor air quality monitors throughout the district. The partnership began in 2018 with a one-year pilot program during which 44 outdoor air quality monitors were installed throughout a several hundred square kilometer area in Gangnam, located in the center of Seoul.

"We established a fine dust monitoring system for each area in Gangnam. As a result, water cleaning and vacuum suction cleaning will be performed to remove it" Director of Environment Management at Gangnam District Office
