Solutions Composite, an industrial machinery manufacturer, tested the Solution to build a two-storey office with a surface of 250 m2 in Mettray in France. The goal was to test the construction system and guarantee their “know-how” on positive energy building as well as to demonstrate the energy efficiency and the low environmental impact of the composite materials construction. In addition to the Solution, other technologies were implemented for thermal recovery and electricity production.
The solution enables modules and elements to have five lifecycles instead of just one, significantly increasing their longevity and contributing to sustainability by reducing waste and the need for replacements.
WallE+ is a performant, simple, and circular reversible material. it's an industrialized element that can be used as the only structural and insulating material of constructions, from the foundation to the roof. Easily assembled and unassembled without alterations, it extends the lifetime of a building with its great modularities options and can infinitely be reused in other constructions. This is a new material opening a field of resilient, neutral, and circular buildings.
