In 2024, ViroBiome™ was integrated into the nasal spray prototype Virostatic HTRE, which underwent a comprehensive evaluation across Europe, including clinical, toxicological, and ex vivo barrier efficacy tests. Key results include: 21-day clinical trial: 85.7% of participants showed no irritation, with 71% expressing overall satisfaction. Ex vivo study: Reduced IL-6 response to airborne fine particles (PM10) by 46.8%, confirming a topical barrier effect. Intranasal tolerance study: No abnormalities observed in rats after repeated applications (ISO 10993-23). Skin patch test: Non-irritating, with no erythema or edema. Acute oral toxicity: No systemic toxicity up to the tested dose (OECD 420), classified as non-toxic by ingestion. ViroBiome™ is now preparing for medical and cosmetic commercialization, showcasing its efficacy, tolerability, and environmental compatibility within a One Health framework.

ViroBiome™ One Health Inside is a gentle, plant-based bioactive solution that deactivates viruses on skin, textiles, plants and everyday surfaces. Free from water, alcohol and preservatives, it acts as a living shield that respects the microbiome and the environment. ViroBiome™ targets viruses responsible for major human infections such as HIV, HPV, HSV, influenza, SARS-CoV-2, as well as tropical viruses like Zika, Chikungunya and Dengue. Designed to be easily integrated into hygiene products, medical devices or protective textiles, this innovation provides a natural, effective and non-toxic alternative to conventional chemical disinfection. It embodies the One Health vision, connecting human, animal and environmental health. It can be sprayed at the industrial stage (1 ml = 400 cm²) or diluted at 2.5 to 5% into existing formulas, without changing consumer habits. It enables better waste management by deactivating 99% of viruses within 30 ".
