Emmanuel Heights
Bangalore
Residential apartments in Indian cities like Bangalore are at a crossroads when it comes to reusing treated wastewater from existing Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs). Typically, the quality of treated water only meets the standards required for toilet flushing and gardening. Emmanuel Heights is one such apartment complex facing the challenge of managing excess treated water. The community is actively exploring sustainable ways to reuse this water while remaining compliant with regulations.
To address this, BOSON White Water installed an 11-stage tertiary treatment system - the BOSON White Water System - downstream of the existing STPs at Emmanuel Heights. This system recovers up to 60,000 litres of high-quality potable water every day. The recovered water is supplied to industries, ensuring a consistent supply of high-grade water for industrial processing, without putting additional pressure on freshwater resources.
Each year, 21 million litres of treated wastewater are safely converted into high-quality potable water at Emmanuel Heights Apartment. Emmanuel Heights Apartment saves INR 80,000/month on waste water disposal.
BOSON White Water focuses on innovative solutions for water management and sustainability by converting excess treated STP water to Potable water. Key offerings include: -Smart Water Management Systems: Utilizing IoT and data analytics to monitor and optimize water usage in real time, helping reuse wastewater, apply predicative maintenance, improve efficiency and monitoring water quality. -Water Purification Technologies: Developing advanced 11 stage filtration and treatment methods to ensure access to clean water (Direct portable reuse- DPR), particularly in areas facing water scarcity. -BOSON believes that wastewater is a predictable water resource and is using it to build water resilient cities. BOSON now recovers 1,010,000 Liters per day of treated STP water to Potable water. Currently operates in 5 cities - Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai & Coimbatore and aims to expand to other cities in India and the world. Has +750 satisfied customers & +30 BOSON installations.
