Description

Solar Square Energy Pvt. Ltd. is one of the India’s trusted solar companies offering full-stack rooftop solar solutions for homes, housing societies, and commercial establishments. The TriNANO team partnered with Solar Square in 2024 to apply our patented nanocoating to their solar panels. This collaborative effort aimed to assess how TriNANO's cutting-edge coating technology affected Solar Square's solar panels' performance and establish potential future partnerships. Solar Square installed the coated panels at the customer's location in Pune, India, and they were independently monitored. After five months, they found that the TriNANO-coated panels generated significantly more energy (5.9% gain) than the non-coated panels and required less maintenance. Based on the findings, Solar Square has provided a testimonial confirming the study's success, and the two companies are currently in talks to work together on future projects.

Impact & Result

Using a total of 3.24 kW solar plants, Solar Square Energy Pvt. Ltd. tested TriNANO's nanocoating and achieved a 5.9% increase in solar energy output. This implies that the solar plant can produce approximately 1 unit of additional electricity per day or 365 units of additional electricity annually after TriNANO’s coating was applied, which is equivalent to the mitigation of 110-140 kg of CO2 emissions annually.

Solution Spotlight

Solar panels manufacturers state 20-22% efficiency when sun rays are at 90 degrees & panel temperature of 25°C. Under normal conditions, efficiency remains 15-18%. Regular maintenance and cleaning are needed to remove oil, grime, dust, and bird droppings, which is recurring cost. Panels degrade over time, requiring replacement after 12-15 years, a significant investment. Our 0.4-micron solid-state nano coating made of inorganic/oxide material applied by electro-deposition process is applied to top glass surface of panels. It increases surface area & creates microstructure similar to Amazon rainforest. It traps light and directs to underlying silica cells, generating more power. Due to its unique microstructure, particles like dust, oil, grime, & bird droppings don't stick & can be easily cleaned with high-pressure air, soft brush or rain. Our coating increaes performance of every solar panel, regardless of its make, type, age, or location from day one.
