We deployed our solution in a pilot project with Groupe Caisse des Dépôts, after winning the Banque des Territoires' call for projects "Frugal AI Demonstrators for Ecological Transition in Territories". Our solution allows us to offer our client the opportunity to participate in demand response programs, temporarily reducing electricity consumption, especially during peak periods, in addition to their own energy management system. We conducted demand response tests last winter with a view to fully launching our solution with them next winter. The pilot took place across 3 sites, covering a total of 35,000 m2. This project aimed to showcase our solution to leverage the energy flexibility of buildings, with the goal of helping our client reduce the carbon footprint of their buildings and explore the possibilities of earning revenue through electrical flexibility.
The experiment proved to be very successful from an economic standpoint as we estimated that the 3 sites of this major French public entity generated a total of 30,000 euros through demand response revenues. Estimating the environmental impact of deploying the solution is challenging because we operate on electricity demand and have less visibility on the sources of production. However, we can express the energy savings achieved based on the power saved during demand response events. For this particular site, the available demand response capacity was around 800 kW, with durations ranging from 1 to 3 hours, resulting in total energy savings of more than 1 MWh. For a coal-fired power plant, using demand response for 1 MWh corresponds to a saving of 0.95 tons of CO2.

Our platform is easy to integrate, with no additional costs, and unlocks additional revenue from the first year while reducing their carbon footprint.
