Sika, a global leader in specialty chemicals for the building sector, faces waste generation during the sales process due to logistical accidents or products nearing expiration. These unsellable items are typically returned and destroyed. We met Sika at the end of 2020 through a pitch organized by Impulse Partner. After integrating our solution into their industrial process, a successful test in 2021 led to StockPro becoming the anti-waste solution for all Sika Group brands (Sika, Cegecol, Parexlanko, PCI). We are now expanding our partnership to European countries like Italy and Belgium.
Through this partnership: - Sika has avoided 45 tons of waste and 30 tons of CO2 emissions in 2023 (we target 100 tons of waste and 70 tons of CO2 emissions avoided in 2024) - Since 2021, Sika has saved 300.000€ by reusing 100 tons of unsaleable products These results are for 1 production site in France and we are expanding our partnership to 40 other production sites located in France.
StockPro is a solution that enables players in the (highly polluting) Construction sector to reduce their negative environmental impact by offering them the opportunity to sell their dormant or depreciated stock via its marketplace and associated services. In this way, these products re-enter a circular economy sales circuit, avoiding the need to remanufacture new products and encouraging manufacturers and consumers to be more sober.
