The Region Grand-Est, in France, financed the installation of Shayp in the scope of a test program to decrease water consumption at a local agricultural high school in the Ardennes region. The high school had old water pipes and the multiplication of the students’ passage had increased the risk of leaks. For a total budget of €3000, three of the school’s buildings were each equipped with a Shayp datalogger.
Shayp assess water leaks in real-time and dispatch maintenance when the calculated costs and risks are high. Shayp’s state of the art IoT can be self-installed within 5 minutes, has a battery lifetime of 10 years with an end of life notification and a high data granularity enabling rapid leak detection. It is an end to end solution from diagnosis to facilitating repair allowing customers and partners to effortlessly include Shayp in their organisation. A smart, simple and interactive tool for building managers and maintenance services, that gives immediate insights on water loss and increases the success rate of repairs. Shayp is about Informing, prioritizing and helping maintenance in order to save costs. This can bring up to 14% total savings on insurance operating costs. Thanks to Shayp, water-companies can do demand-based pumping, not only detect leaks in real time, but they can predict demand and configure their energy usage accordingly.
