HOLCIM, a global leader in sustainable construction, sought to reduce its environmental footprint by transitioning part of its heavy-duty fleet to electric vehicles. However, the company faced challenges in planning and managing EV operations efficiently across multiple LATAM countries. Make My Day implemented its Routing & Charging Optimization platform to solve this, using real-time data and a 98% accurate battery prediction engine to plan optimal routes and charging stops. The solution was integrated with existing telematics systems and tailored to each location’s charging infrastructure. As a result, HOLCIM achieved up to 82% CO₂ reduction during the use phase for 50 trucks, reduced charging downtime, and cut operational costs. The project demonstrated the feasibility and economic benefits of EV fleet transition at scale, addressing both ecological and logistical challenges.
Make My Day’s implementation with HOLCIM achieved an 82% reduction in CO₂ emissions for 50 EV trucks during the use phase. The solution optimized daily routes and charging, resulting in up to 30% lower operational costs. Monthly fuel and energy savings significantly shortened the ROI period to under 18 months. The project also reduced battery degradation and extended vehicle lifespan.

Make My Day solution provides the optimal route for the EV drivers and fleets, including the vehicle charging, by using a unique decision-making algorithm, which combines data about the driver / the fleet/ the battery status of the EV, and the charging stations in the areas. Combining all this data in real-time creates the optimal route and plan both for drivers and fleets including the charging.
