As part of a municipal innovation pilot, UP&CHARGE deployed its first wireless charging station for electric vehicles in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. The system was installed in a public space to serve the city’s technical fleet and demonstrate the viability of cable-free charging solutions. The installation was completed in under 4 hours, with no trenching or concrete, and the station operates automatically—charging begins simply by parking the vehicle. With an average charging efficiency of 95%, the solution eliminates cable handling and reduces maintenance needs.
