IGNIS
Escatron
IGNIS performs advanced asset management in order to maximize its availability. With advanced digital technologies and proactive maintenance leveraging big data and machine learning. Ignis is responsible for the operation, maintenance and Asset Control Center of the largest solar PV plant in Europe (800MW). The current portfolio is over 7.5 GW and 30 GW in development. Through the adoption of Photovoltaics 4.0, IGNIS recognized an opportunity to gain efficiency with technology. At the core of this endeavor is the integration of artificial intelligence, made possible through install Clever Dx data collection points. This significant accomplishment is helping to identify 5% unknow asset inefficiency and improve new Power Plant designs.
IGNIS case was identify a 5% inefficiency due to inverters. IGNIS is saving more than 46M€ per year thanks to recover energy production on their assets and is saving the incremental of 234.000 tCO2 per year. We are working to achieve the 12% power reduction recover and improve the previous figures.
Photovoltaics 4.0 is a True Diagnosis Platform at PV module level, above and beyond monitoring. Our Diagnostic Platform at PV module level in real-time, remotely in just 3clicks with the best quality data. We SIMPLIFY by DIGITALIZING processes are currently done manually or with indirect measurements based on estimations. We measure the best quality data to know the performance of a PV module, the IV curves, remotely and automatically. This is the scalable way of doing the maintenance of the plants. Our solution is constantly retrieving the health data of each module and provides exact information of the true state of the 100% of the plant. improving business decisions, saving costs, and increasing clean energy production and CO2 emissions reduction contributing the goals of H2030-H2050.
