Large Solar Developer

Omnidian has partnered with a large solar developer to provide performance assurance services to their portfolio of large solar energy assets. Omnidian’s proprietary platform Resolv ingests their asset energy data and analyzes the asset’s health and performance, diagnosing performance issues automatically. On February 5, 2025 Resolv automatically detected that 1 of the 40 inverters sited on one of their assets stopped working, and within the following day an Omnidian agent had reviewed the issue and opened a service case. Omnidian was able to remotely diagnose the inverter’s issue and submitted a warranty replacement request to the manufacturer of the inverter. By February 17th Omnidian’s Field Service Partner replaced the failed hardware, restoring the system to full production.
Omnidian replaced a 125 KW inverter within 12 days of its failure. While we can’t say for sure how long it would have been down before had the asset not been monitored by Omnidian, Omnidian’s always-on performance monitoring ensured this issue was resolved quickly. It is unlikely that this production would have been restored this quickly had Omnidian not caught the issue, which saved our client potentially tens of thousands of kWhs and weeks of revenue.
