French transport operator Transdev selected Lormauto in a competition to develop an individual mobility offer for local authorities. They were looking for EVs that can be recharged at charging stations or at home, 100 km minimum range, connected vehicles allowing fleet management, multiple users management, high reliability, and an economic model simplifying budget management. Both parties are currently in the process of defining a joint offer in which Transdev will participate.
A remarkable 50% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions during vehicle manufacturing, combined with an extraordinary 90% decrease in GHG emissions from vehicle operations, underscores a revolutionary shift towards greener and more sustainable mobility solutions.
With this Solution, the linear economic cycles currently used by car manufacturers can meet the conversion needs of the 260,000,000 vehicles currently in use in Europe. Using existing used cars as a resource, converting them into electric vehicles, and tripling their life span is an original response capable of actively and innovatively addressing this need. Lormauto is a new type of car manufacturer that produces very long-lived vehicles by industrially re-qualifying existing vehicles and continuously modernizing them. Our vehicles are leased to their customers.
