Paris
Enerdrape, a leader in non-invasive geothermal solutions, is proud to announce the commissioning of its first project in France, in partnership with Paris Habitat and CIEC (ENGIE Solutions). This pioneering installation marks a major step forward in integrating renewable energy into urban housing. An ambitious project with a lasting impact, this initiative was implemented in a residential complex managed by Paris Habitat in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. The building, housing 72 apartments, is now equipped with an innovative geothermal solution. Enerdrape installed 145 geothermal panels in the underground parking lot, covering a total area of 145 m². This system, coupled with a 25 kW heat pump, enables the thermal activation of the space, generating 70 MWh of renewable energy annually—enough to cover 25% of the domestic hot water needs of the residences while avoiding 15 tons of CO₂ emissions per year.
This installation will prevent up to 15 tons of CO₂ emissions annually by generating 70 MWh of renewable energy each year.
Imagine a world where any underground structure, including parking garages, basements, tunnels, and pedways, can be turned into a clean thermal energy source for buildings. Enerdrape can make this happen. Enerdrape develops the first available modular, prefabricated, and scalable geothermal panel technology that allows turning any new or existing underground infrastructure into a renewable source for the heating and cooling of buildings. By offering energy professionals and building owners a low-carbon, cost-competitive, and easy-to-install solution to avoid CO2 emissions associated with thermal energy supply and increase the use of on-site renewables, Enerdrape fosters the decarbonization of the building sector.
