Veolia provides delegated management of drinking water and sanitation services on behalf of public authorities. GeoCassini manages all types of geospatial data in SaaS Daas mode, regardless of their format, including Lidar data, thanks to features based on digital photogrammetry, AI, VR, API access, BIM model management. Veolia uses GeoCassini to enhance its performance in the management and maintenance of underground infrastructure: Pipeline relocation/renewal works and associated connections required by road operations. Renewal of pipelines as part of road operations and modernization or transfer of associated connections. Pipeline construction projects on behalf of third parties concerning the reinforcement or extension of the public drinking water distribution network under public domain, as well as works related to the modification or relocation of the public drinking water distribution network in operation.
The study was conducted over 200 km of drinking water network. For the environmental benefit, we calculated that the carbon footprint with the traditional solution is 10.59 TCO2. With GeoCassini, the carbon footprint is 0.83 TCO2, which represents a 82% reduction in carbon footprint. For the economic benefit, we calculated that the cost of the traditional solution is 560,000 euros. With GeoCassini, the cost is 23,000 euros, which represents a 96% reduction.
GeoCassini is an eco-friendly comprehensive solution. GeoCassini is 100% web-based platform accessible in Saas mode dedicated to the storage, management, utilization, updating, and exchange of any type of geospatial data, describing space and its contents. GeoCassinit addresses various challenges : BIM and 3D modeling, digital twins, management of infrastructures, interoperability, collaborative work, data exchange.
