At the Nurasoi Vyndo Corporate Office in Navrangpura, the management wanted furnishings aligned with their green building vision. Conventional synthetic blinds were costly, lacked sustainability, and offered no wellness benefits. Rayush Naturals introduced Kushaweave Curtains, crafted from Vetiver (Khus) roots, offering natural cooling, subtle fragrance, and 100% biodegradability. To complement the office’s minimal white décor, we designed dual-side curtains—a sleek white fabric front with a Vetiver root back, combining elegance with biophilic connection. Installation across the four-storied building created immediate impact: interiors felt cooler, AC use reduced, and employees enjoyed a refreshing, calming atmosphere. The directors praised the innovation, noting enhanced comfort, wellness, and brand image. This project demonstrates how sustainability and design can merge seamlessly, making Kushaweave a pioneering choice for corporate green buildings.
Kushaweave curtains reduced AC use by ~10–15%, saving 6–8 tons CO₂/year and ~150–200 kg of plastic waste. Energy savings cut electricity bills by estimated INR 18–22K/month, with a payback of 18–20 months and ROI of 35–40% over 5 years. Naturally fragrant Vetiver improved indoor air quality and employee well-being, while enhancing the office’s sustainability branding and eco-conscious image.
Rayush Naturals transforms vetiver (khus) roots—a traditional aromatic grass— into innovative, sustainable home textiles like blinds, curtains, and floorings. Through a patented process, these roots are converted into durable, breathable yarn that offers multiple natural benefits. Unlike synthetic products that consume energy and release harmful chemicals, those textiles provide natural cooling, absorb excess humidity, and release a gentle stress-relieving aroma. They also act as a mosquito repellent and offer UV protection, making living spaces healthier and more comfortable without electricity or chemicals. By replacing plastics and synthetic furnishings, their products reduce microplastic pollution and carbon footprint. At the same time, Rayush Naturals promotes vetiver cultivation, which helps restore degraded land, prevent soil erosion, and create livelihood opportunities for rural women and farmers. This is where tradition meets innovation, offering homes worldwide a sustainable alternative.
