FM Logistic
Longueil Sainte Marie
At its Longueil Sainte-Marie platform, which also houses its French headquarters, FM Logistic had two constraints when it came to adding charge points to its car park: - Very little power was available from the existing electrical installation, - the need to keep civil engineering and external works on the asphalt to a minimum. With the Eiko power cube, the logistics company was able to go from 1 to 13 charging points, without any civil engineering and without any increase in power. By taking over the 11 kVA connection dedicated to the only charge point available on the site before the project, and connecting it to Eiko and its 40 kWh battery, the company now has 13 chargepoints. These are now used on a daily basis by users of company vehicles, as well as by employees, who can recharge their personal vehicles on a chargeback basis.
50% cost savings compared to a traditional solution, with no need for civil works or electrical upgrades.
With its Eiko platform, Mob-Energy is reinventing vehicle charging and offering the only solution that can charge up to 25 vehicles with the electrical power normally used by a single charging point. Without any civil or electrical works required. Businesses and public authorities can set up Eiko in just a few days, without any work, and add additional charging points at a later date without any constraints. Eiko can also store energy in second life batteries to reduce energy bills by optimising off-peak times, absorb surplus solar energy or re-inject it into buildings. With Eiko, recharging becomes simple, agile, efficient and economical.
