The Ennobox Solution has been deployed since 2021 on Edmond de Rothschild REIM's property portfolio in Switzerland. The company was looking for an energy monitoring, analysis and optimisation system that would reduce the environmental impact of its buildings while cutting costs for tenants. Given the diversity of the technical installations (gas, oil, heat pumps, etc.) and the geographical distribution of the buildings, the client wanted a global, centralised solution to facilitate the management of its assets. Ennobox's stand-alone intelligent optimisation technology now makes it possible to acquire, use and analyse data to optimise the operation of all types of technical installations, without the need for massive deployment of sensors in buildings. This technology also centralises data in a portal to support decision-making during modernisation and renovation projects.
Since 2021, the approximately one hundred buildings equipped with this energy-efficient solution between Geneva and Zurich have collectively saved an impressive 1,250,000 kWh of energy. This significant reduction in energy consumption has led to the avoidance of 320,000 kilograms of CO2 emissions, contributing to a substantial decrease in the overall carbon footprint of these buildings.
The Solution is a smart heating solution using IoT technology, data analysis and algorithms in order to improve energy efficiency and reduce the environmental footprint of the real estate industry. Fully interfaces with any heating systems and non-intrusive, the Solution establishes a two-way communication channels with the building boiler through an IoT network. Without any manual intervention, it guarantees an optimal temperature in the building and can save up to 30% of the total heat consumption each year
